Minentaucher

Minentaucher is a six-part documentary series following an intensive mine diver training program of the German Navy. Shot over six months, the series is entirely driven by the protagonists themselves, with no voice-over or off-text, allowing the story to unfold from within and bringing the audience close to the physical and mental demands of the course.
To capture this authenticity, the camera team adapted closely to the training routines — moving with the course, staying inside the operational flow and working under the same time pressure and environmental conditions. This approach helped translate the atmosphere, exhaustion and discipline of one of the most demanding programs without staging.
